Thank you so much for your assistance with coordinating CPR certification classes in the month of June. It has been a pleasure working with you thus far. As you are receiving interests, I would like to inform you of the two different types of CPR certification classes that are offered: Heartsaver CPR and Basic Life Skills (BLS).


Heartsaver certification is a training program designed for individuals who are not healthcare providers but are likely to encounter emergencies in the course of their work, such as teachers, fitness instructors, and office workers. Heartsaver courses cover the basic skills necessary to respond to emergencies, such as performing CPR, using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and providing basic first aid.


On the other hand, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a program designed for healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors, paramedics, and EMTs. BLS courses are more advanced and cover a wider range of skills, including recognizing and responding to respiratory and cardiac emergencies, performing advanced airway management techniques, and using more specialized equipment such as bag valve masks and defibrillators.


Upon scheduling individuals, I propose that we offer two different times for each certification class: Heartsaver certification from 9 am to 12 pm and the Basic Life Skills (BLS) certification from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. I would appreciate your feedback regarding the above mentioned.
